Yeah, it means it's practice. Like I said before.
I wish it were more meaningful. Our JV hammered Norton 46-0 tonight.
Sounds like Kelly has some good'uns coming up.
Too many times JV can be good but come varsity level, performance is not like it was on JV. I wish Wise the best and hope their JV does play Varsity as well as they do now on JV. But to tell you the truth about something all these on this board that is not from Pound don't know CRAP about what happened to Pound's little league a few years ago. IMO the program we had was doing great and the program had grown more than it ever had. I knew with the type of parents moving up that there would be problems cause even at practice I saw too many parents trying to coach their son and going over the coaches and jumping the coaches over their son not playing like they wanted them to or the position they wanted them to. I said then that the Pound coaching on the little league level would be in an uproar once their boys moved up. I have to say I was right to in that. God help the little league program now, cause some of those whiny parents are in charge and when they hit Varsity level they will run their mouth then too if the coaches don't make their son a all star player. I believe in keeping your mouth shut for the most part and let the coaches do their job. I don't care who you are or who your daddy is, or if you are rich or poor, each and every player should EARN his position not be handed to him. I know for a fact that kids when my son played in little league the coaches made you earn your spot, well now that is not true. It is a joke when you goto Pound now and see all the daddy's coaching either from the side line or on the field. First thing first if you are a dad then you can't coach your child. Then mommy's need to stay home instead of showing their butt off and running their mouth. Who cares daddy, who you are and who cares mommy, who you are. If your child only gets to play because of your brown nosing then I would be ashamed to even show my face. So this so called cleaning the program up is a BIG JOKE.
Speaking on the topic of JV, forgot to say but Coeburn's JV team had their game postponed YET AGAIN!
I think this makes three times in a row now, and they've yet to play a single game. (I think they've had ONE scrimmage is all.)
There are already several players fed up with it and claiming that unless things shape up, they're out of it..
Pretty sad that they can't get things more organized. P-Nut football does it better!
So now Coeburn's JV team has ALOT of catching up to do.. and how they'll do it, I have no idea.
Wise used those 11th and 12th graders the other night when they beat Pound they had too. #58, #60, #76, #55, #51, #35, those kids had to be 11th graders cause Wise could not have anyone that is any good coming up. I bet Big ol' #2 was a senior. B.I. he ain't nothing but a cheatin coach. Shame on him you cheater.
Wise jv beat Norton jv too*As bad as they beat Pound from what I hear*
UR FULL OF crap too man....the oldest boys we have on the team is 10 graders and u shouldnt accuse if u dont know for a fact....some of the biggest guys like #58 are HUGE TRUE freshman....Coach JR saylers is a Great coach
I also heard that wise j.v. team was dressing out a player who graduated many years ago. Some guy named Josh Mabe has been playing Quarterback for their j.v. team he is also a member of their varsity staff. That ol' B.I. he's some kind of cheater.
